In all of this, I guess what I don't understand is why Owens was pissed at what Keyshan said. Parcells is the reason a lot of this years team is what it is; there's no disputing that. He deserves credit for some of the personnel that's here, and for their development. He's also got to accept responsibility for some of the guys that he brought in that were less than stellar additions, but all head coaches have that burden.

I understand Owens defending Phillips, and Phillips deserves a lot of credit for what's going on this year (as does Garrett and the rest of the staff). But what exactly got Owens' panties in a bunch?

Key apparently previously compared Wade to Switzer. Obviously, most fans apportion about 90% of the credit for the '95 Super Bowl to Jimmy and 10% to Switzer, and Keyshawn's was endorsing "genius coach followed by lucky caretaker" theory of the 'Boys.

I don't know why people can't just admit: if Parcells (and entire staff) were still here, we wouldn't we 12-1. But if, say, Dave Campo had been our coach from 2003-2006, we wouldn't be 12-1 right now, either. People who try to apportion all of the credit to one person (and Keyshawn sort of is) are silly.

Tuna is such a Tool! If he were here, he would've burnt breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The Boys would be 8-5 and fading fast. He just can't hack it anymore. Thank goodness he is long gone, and that we have some real coaches. 12-1 is what it is...and it ain't the Tuna's team anymore.

Tuna bought the groceries all right (well, Jerry picked dessert), but his idea of cooking was to dump it all into a blender and make a grey mousse out of it.

Now with Chef Wade, we've got pancakes, fried eggs, sausage links, pork chops, grits, hot coffee... and popcorn!

Gesh! Why is this such a big thing. Parcell's took a horrible team and built an empire, but he choose to leave when he clearly had a chance to stay here. Sorry Bill you forfited the glory, but we will always remember what you did after 3*5-11.

They went on and on about TO's comments and only state this about Key's: "On the show, Johnson said he believed former Cowboys coach Bill Parcells -- now also an analyst with ESPN -- deserves credit for what the Dallas team looks like now, with a 12-1 record."

Um...please. No, no...he went on and on about TO and using the Britney cry "leave him alone!"

I seriously hate ESPN (for many reasons beyond this - Kenny Mayne, ESPN 2 being crap, ESPN News not breaking any news, ruining HR derby, etc.)

Who cares what Big Bill says, unless he becomes a GM who wants to deal on pesonnel matters with the Cowboys.

William just wanted to get back to NJ, and decided to leave the boys. He will be back in professional football in the future, probably in the NY area.

Geez. Tuna had a real young team. Give him a break for the last couple years. He had to rebuild a franchise from scratch. That's not easy to do. If he wanted to coach a couple years and got to have all of his pass rushers all year he would be successful. Maybe not 12-1, but you don't have to be 12-1 to be good.

Having said that, though. Wade is not Switzer at all. Wade has his own system and it has been successful in the NFL for years. Sure, Bill got all the players and that's wonderful. But these guys are just now hitting their NFL stride in a good system. I don't know why it's a contest. Bill deserves credit, Wade deserves credit, and hell... Jerry deserves probably the most credit. These are HIS hires. Tuna did the best with what he had to work with, and he didn't even have a QB until the very end... and a QB he drafted and made a starter.

For this Bill Parcells subject… MIKE IN PLANO said things perfectly regarding Not Wanting T.O. Not having Folk.. choosing Spears and Carpenter… I would like to Add that he mentally screwed up Julius Jones.. and wouldn’t be using Barber to his near potential like Jason Garrett is… Wr Coach Sherman has worked with Jerry Rice, Cris Carter , Randy Moss, Terry Glenn and other Great Wr’s… and T.O. is respecting him so much that he said Treat me like a Rookie and TEACH ME… that’s humbleness for you… What did we have last year.. Some Nut Case that can’t teach WR’S anything…. The Wr’s in Arizona are REGRESSING now because of him… it’s sad… Who was Sam Hurd’s WR coach last year… ?? it was T.O. !!! No one ever gave credit to Nut Case Haley !!

We all gave Bill Parcells Credit for making DAVE CAMPOS team Better… and we didn’t give CAMPO credit for getting the Groceries… But now we are supposed to Glorify Parcells and Not Wade… Wade, and Garrett has been like Peanut butter and Jelly and it’s been Beautiful… and Jerry can finally be the Owner that he wants to be… instead of tip toeing around his own damn franchise.. because Bill is so Hard headed !! I want to put my 2 cents in on the T.O. vs. Keyshawn topic , T.O. and Keyshawn has been in parallel Universes for a long time now.. Dating back to when T.O. first got those 20 Catches vs. Chicago when he was with the Niners.. it started then because T.O. was officially the next best Thing and that rubbed Keyshawn the Wrong way… and then the comparisons started between Keyshawn, T.O. and Randy Moss

Keyshawn and T.O. paths kept crossing media wise.. with Keyshawn Yelling at a Coach or Asst and T.O. yelling at a Coach or a Asst. Keyshawn Being the Ultimate ME PLAYER and T.O. Loving ME some ME believe it.. Keyshawn being a malcontent on all his teams and T.O. being a Malcontent on all of his… Keyshawn getting Kicked off Grudens Team and T.O. getting Kicked off the Eagles.. Their Paths kept crossing for the Media… and Now.. Keyshawn is the Media… and T.O. is the Ultimate Media Topic… NICE !!!

Keyshawn is Jealous .. Bottom-line.. and it hurts that T.O. was more famous that a TEAM LEADER like Mcnabb.. But Keyshawn was never loved anywhere but Dallas… and then Dallas gets rid of him For T.O. That had to hurt.. What also hurts is that he is the Ultimate Bill Parcells Puppy… not only Puppet but Puppy !! and Jerry forced His best Coach to get rid of him for his worse Rival and like it… Classic.. So it’s Pain and Sting all over the place for Keyshawn.. But too damn bad Keyshawn.. You never helped Us do the things we are doing No way… T.O. has took us farther.. with Less … No Glenn and No Julius running for a 1000 yds… and we are Still 12 – 1.. Damn.. that got to hurt Keyshawn.. Keyshawn would give up his ring to be T.O. for an Hour… Damn Hater.. By the way.. He got Jacked in OAKLAND CA … YEAH THAT’S RIGHT OAKLAND .. his baby momma stay out there.. and he started hating on her new man … Just a sad guy.. and isn’t nearly as close to being as good as Michael Irvin on TV… he’s a Joke-Shawn.

I saw Keyshawn's response on ESPN to T.O.'s challenge and he talked about T.O. being childish, and then said something along of lines of a skunk's piss!! If that doesn't show immaturity then I don't know what does...they had to bleep it off the show. Bottom line is that T.O. has numbers that Johnson will never have!! Johnson was good, but, he didn't retire because of injury or age, he retired because the STRUGGLING Panthers didn't want to pay him for his "talent"!!!

And if Keyshawn was trying to warn T.O. like he claims, why didn't he say, "T.O. I know, as a past culprit,that trying to battle coaches publicly will never end up well!! I suggest you continue doing the amazing job you are doing on and off the field and not let questions like this misdirect your path to glory!!" Instead, he went off on a tangent about skunk's and being an "adult"!!

At the end of the day, T.O. has never come out and said, "I hate Parcells, he sucks at life!! He was the worst coach ever!!" In fact, I remember him calling Bill a "Future Hall of Fame coach!!"...what else can he say! Until he says that he is AWFUL, you can't say that he feels that way. Just because he likes Wade better and feels a need to protect the guy that said his name from day 1 (much like Keyshawn is protecting Bill), doesn't mean that he is harboring ill-will for Parcells.

T.O. can do a lot for a team on the field and off...Parcells never noticed or cared and it showed. After all, I know we all remember when T.O. was hospitalized and Parcells came out and said, "Don't know anything about it!!!" If there are rumors that you tried to commit suicide, and you go to work and your boss says, "Oh, really, didn't hear about it. Oh well!!" You would lose respect and feel slighted too!!!!

If ESPN leaves it alone, T.O. will NEVER have another thing to say about him. But they KEEP ASKING AND ASKING AND ASKING!!! Parcells and Keyshawn are "buddy buddy" and anyone will protect their friend, no problems with that!! But after all that happened, even McNabb has come to defense against T.O. this year. So, if he can forgive and forget, why can't the world...who he never offended!!!

Everyone just needs to go to a corner and breathe and let go! Nothing will be resolved...ever!!

T.O. is a star amoungst stars now while those two pin heads kiss each other on espn. Cannot wait to hear all their bickering about our success in the playoffs. Oh...and one other thing...like T.O. says and it is so very true....TREAT ME LIKE A MAN!

I loved it when he said that! TREAT ME LIKE A MAN OR I WILL KICK YOU A##! HA! :) :)

That last part is what he really wanted to tell Bill "Santa Claus" Parcells! Now that we have a Texan back in charge we're on top of the World!

If it were up to Parcells, our recieving corps would be Crayton, Austin, and Hurd. No TO and Glenn would still be hurt. We also would have no Ware, if you remember Parcells wanted to draft Spears first. We would probably have Carpenter at OLB insead. When people say that Parcells built this team, I think Jerry Jones deserves most of the credit for building this team. Anyone else agree?
