It could be 12 Pro Bowlers for the Cowboys. SS Roy Williams is in line make his fifth consecutive appearance, replacing deceased Redskins safety Sean Taylor.

Williams would become the 20th player to go to five Pro Bowls as a Cowboy. The previous members of that club: DT Bob Lilly (11), OL Larry Allen (10), DB Mel Renfro (10), DT Randy White (9), RB Emmitt Smith (8), QB Troy Aikman (6), S Cliff Harris (6), LB Chuck Howley (6), OG Nate Newton (6), OG John Niland (6), RB Don Perkins (6), QB Roger Staubach (6), OT Rayfield Wright (6), DE George Andrie (5), DB Cornell Green (5), WR Michael Irvin (5), LB Lee Roy Jordan (5), TE Jay Novacek (5) and S Darren Woodson (5).

The first two were earned, while the last three were not. That's pretty bad replacing a dead man, and a redskin at that.

Is the listing of Matt Hasselbeck in front of Romo indicative of how they finished in the voting? With Romo coming out so high in fan voting, I have a hard time believing that Hasselwreck is ahead of him.

Woodson? Don't we wish.

Yeah, Woodson? Too bad we don't have Darren Woodson or even Rod Woodson playing in Roy's spot. Can somebody change that Home Depot add in the upper right? Roy has that evil grin on his face.

Kinda amazing that 3 of the 4 cowboy
secondary starters made the pro-bowl
considering pass defense is the biggest
weakness this team has. Just a little strange.

I would be EMBARRASSED if I were Roy. I would give up my spot. He does not deserve to go at all.

Taylor played Free Safety this season, so Hamlin starts in his place.

Roy is an (alleged) so-called "Strong" Safety.

safety is safety as far as the probowl is concerned- i think pat watkins should make it ahead of Roy though. Hell, I think Kenny Phillips deserves it more then Roy.

To honor Sean Taylor they should not replace him. Just like when the Redskins took the field with only 10 men.

KDP, NFL.com definitely lists Strong and Free separately, and oters selected them separately. Also, NFL.com specifically states that Taylor was selected to start as a Free Safety.

It makes more sense for the league to treat safeties interchangeably, but I'm not sure that they do that.
