Cowboys re-signed backup defensive end Stephen Bowen today to a one-year contract. He played in 16 regular season games and the playoff game as well. He had 23 tackles and nine quarterback pressures on the season. |

Stewart and Phillips looked over matched this year. The Dallas Defense played under its talent value. If not for Jason Garrett's Offense outscoring many of the teams this year, the Dallas Cowboys could have easily been 10-6 or 9-7. Interesting enough when we stopped scoring we stopped winning. Wheres the "D"! Mr. Fix it was a Joke!
After a 21 play 90 or so yard drive by the Dallas Cowboys offense, the Dallas Cowboys defense with 30 seconds left in the first half and an 80 million dollar defense allowed the giants to drive 70 or so yards to score 7 points to end their season 21 - 17.
Please Dom Capers take the job, Brian Stewart and Wade Phillips non aggressive defense was a “Big Time Joke”.

I agree that I could care less if B. Stewart had the blue star door hit him in the behind. He's not much of a coordinator, but if you have Phillips, Campo, and Capers, now you're talking!
As for Bowen, solid, low-key signing. When this guy was in on passing downs, he had an impact and is possibly a diamond in the rough like Hatcher.

With Hatcher, Bowen, Canty and Ratliff, it gives you the opportunity to trade Spears to Miami. I want that 2nd round pick!!!! Let another team trade up to the first pick and give Miami extra picks, it just gives Miami more flexibility to trade that 2nd.
