The Simpson Family Bye Week Fiesta looks like an innocent little getaway (oh, it was?) compared to the drama swirling around Eli Manning in the Big Apple. NewYorkSportSpace.com, which I probably shouldn't confuse with a legit news source since I never heard of it before seeing a link on The Big Lead, has a major scoop. What happened to this blog in the last 2 months or so? Has DMN given pink slips to everyone, inducing them to write whatever random nonsense comes to mind?
The occasional "tabloid" stuff is cute, but even if you're joking, after you've "joked" about 4 dozen times, not only does it grow old, but you actually dilute the value that this blog once had for fans of the team.
Really disappointing to a long-time reader.

I have almost completely abandoned this blog for other....sources, shall we say. You guys know which ones I am talking about, where actual NEWS and things that ACTUALLY RELATED TO THE COWBOYS is reported. The key word there being REPORTED.
I lost all respect when a few months ago Timmy Mac here selflessly sacrificed his precious time and tried to watch a Stars game. His nonsensical and closeminded dismissal of the game of hockey speaks volumes to me as to the validity of his sports journalist ability, which is absolutely zero.

The entire media has adopted TMZ's approach. Every single writer at the DMN is a follower, a d-bag follower. ANY mention of that stuff is another way of saying, "I am a follower, not a reporter."

everyone needs to get off timmys balls here. first off, this is funny crap. secondly, I love this blog because it offers a lot of serious insight, as well as some funny stuff you dont get anywhere else. I like all the guys who contribute, timmy tabloid included. if you dont like it, just skip over it. its called a scroll wheel. use it.

Brandon, you could at least get the facts straight. That was Eddie Sufko you're thinking of in regards of saying hockey was lame (which it is). But I wonder who is the closed minded fool here? The one who tries to experience new things or the one who gets angry because someone's opinion doesn't jive with their own?

I am always the first to admit I was wrong. I wrote my post hastily and without really thinking. All of this Romo/Mexico hoopla has me up in fits, because I really just don't think its that big a deal, esp since the great Tom Brady spent his weekend in NYC. Of course, he does already have a couple of SB rings.
I'm not close minded though. Very open minded in fact, but a little too quick to defend my second favorite sport, one which I play nearly every single day.
Tim, I apologize for calling you out in confusion with Eddie. I'll keep my opinion low for a while.
