 AP Jeff Ireland was introduced as the Dolphins' general manager this morning, a few hours after he dismissed Cam Cameron as coach. He had his Parcells-isms down. He talked about changing the culture, adding passionate football players and big football players. He said the search for a new head coach would be quick, but they did not have a timetable set. He said he had a "high regard" for Tony Sparano, the Cowboys assistant head coach who should be at the top of the interview list, but he also added they would have a wide range of candidates for the spot. |

Yeah right. Ireland didn't fire Cameron any more than I did. We all know that The Fat Tuna did that. Ireland is nothing more than a puppet figurehead GM.

All part of the plan. Jerry allowed this to happen, knowing he would be able to show that Ireland doesn't have final say so he can demand, and get, some picks from the Dolphins.

Most people with an ounce of brains, know that Big William is the General Manager, and that Ireland is primarily a player evaluator. Surely, Mr. Jones is not going to let Miami do this without a compensation challege. Is he?

Who gives a f$%k about Ireland. Give me some Cowboy news archer. How was practice today, anyword on TO today, you know cowboy stuff. I couldn't care less about a 1-15 teams hirings and firings, who have been on the draft clock for 3 weeks now.

Not sure who's Barzini, who's the Don. I do know that the vast majority of players that the Tuna-Whale and Ireland PUSHED FOR play like Fredo.
Of the 12 Cowboy ProBowlers, one is a kicker (doesn't count), four are free agents that we either lucked out on (Romo) or Jerry pushed for (TO, Davis), four were drafted in the FIVE years of FULL DRAFTS that Parcells/Ireland took part in, and THREE were drafted by a Campo/Gailey regime handicapped by the Galloway trade. Considering that the Campo guys have made 10 ProBowls while the Parcells' draftees have made 7, I'd say dumb luck and Jerry have a lot more to do with any talent on this team than the "NFL royalty".
