No comment from Crayton

Patrick Crayton filled Big Blue bulletin boards up this week, but he didn't provide the New York media any more sensational material today.

Crayton kept his mouth shut after his poor performance in the loss to the Giants. He had three catches for 27 yards, dropping a critical third-down pass and appearing to slow down on a throw in the end zone during the final minute.

"Hey, I'm not talking," Crayton said as reporters approached him at his locker. "Good luck to New York. That's it."

JERK!!!

Posted by Scott @ 7:50 PM Sun, Jan 13, 2008

All I'm gonna say is that Patrick Crayton was paid off just like the ref's. They didn't call anything on the G-Mice all day. I saw tripping, holding, pass interference, Unecesary roughness, unsportsmanlike conduct. you name it and it was never called. Talk about a conspiracy!! I'm sick to my stomache about this one and Crayton is this years goat. If you are gonna open your mouth in the future you better back it up! Words can't describe how unfair this game was called!!!!

Posted by Snowy @ 7:50 PM Sun, Jan 13, 2008

Granted, it wasn't all his fault, he needs to apologize.

Posted by Danny White @ 7:51 PM Sun, Jan 13, 2008

Amazing how Jerry keeps giving contract extensions and these jerks then just decide that they don't have to prepare and take the game seriously anymore. Roy Williams (before the season), Romo and now Crayton. This reflects more on Phillips and his pathetic lack of discipline and his defense of his joke of an 0-4 playoff record. Jimmy would have had these guys scared to death of losing and focusing only on football..I guess Phillips is too stupid to see this.

Posted by gpaq @ 7:54 PM Sun, Jan 13, 2008

hafer said it best: JERK!!!!

be a man & face the media & the fans!

Hey Pat,
I'll leave you a ticket at the box office in AZ.

Patrick Crayton pretty much SUCKED. He did alot more negative than positive. He dropped 2 sure completions and slowed down on that 3rd down near the end, he didn't even try. He does a lot of talking for a guy that didn't try in a very important game. Then, he almost muffed that punt. He needs to shut up. After the 'Boys win the SB next year, THEN do your talking. Don't talk the talk in you can't walk the walk.

Posted by GOODBYE BYE @ 8:02 PM Sun, Jan 13, 2008

What! You mean Patrick has nothing to say! Hey Patrick....
What happen to "WE'LL MEET'M AGAIN IF THEY MAKE IT TO THE SUPER BOWL"?

Posted by goodbye BYE @ 8:05 PM Sun, Jan 13, 2008

When was the last time a Trash Talking Team won?

Posted by goodbye BYE @ 8:11 PM Sun, Jan 13, 2008

There's only one trash talking team remaining. Phyllis Rivers and the cry baby LaDonna Thomas.

Posted by jake @ 8:13 PM Sun, Jan 13, 2008

The Cowboys were never that good to begin with. Buffalo should have beat them for goodness sake. Choke just like last year. I think I am now a Packers fan.

Posted by Patrick Crayton @ 8:17 PM Sun, Jan 13, 2008

Well, I guess little larry giusti is happy now. We should have had him on field instead of me 'cause he could have caught passes with his mouth.

larry giusti and his Giants rule the world!!!

Posted by Ron @ 8:21 PM Sun, Jan 13, 2008

pat crayton isnt the only one that should take the heat. roy williams, lenard davis, jock reeves and the rest of the offensive line. and, i think, that there is just enough blame left for jason garrett for becomming so predictable in the second half. these individuals are the ones that should take the heat for this loss.

Posted by Danny @ 8:46 PM Sun, Jan 13, 2008

He's a chump. He stopped on his route with seconds left. That was a TD. He's a chump!

Posted by Dennis of NJ @ 8:49 PM Sun, Jan 13, 2008

the better team won, accept it and go back to Mexico. You were outplayed. Enjoy your popcorn watching the G-Men vs GB next week.
How 'bout them cowpies!!!!

Posted by DennyPat @ 8:58 PM Sun, Jan 13, 2008

Hey Dallas.....

Want to know the problem???

Jerry Jones on the sideline, next to the head coach with three minutes left in a close game.Duh?

Come on dummies.......figure it out!

Posted by needlessworry @ 9:12 PM Sun, Jan 13, 2008

A 3rd rate receiver - drop ball and can't return punt. What a waste of $ on his new contract.

Posted by Dazed and Confused @ 9:14 PM Sun, Jan 13, 2008

Too many dropped passes, too many amateur mistakes. Too many blown opportunities. How embarrassing to drop a championship round game to a group of "pretenders" that backed into the playoffs.

Posted by JD @ 9:14 PM Sun, Jan 13, 2008

From the earlier post:

Posted by Joe @ 7:30 PM Sun, Jan 13, 2008
Patrick Crayton=Freddie Mitchell.

Couldn't agree more! He is a b*tch. Have been saying all season that he should have just shut the f**k up. So he drops 2 sure touchdowns (and other passes), quits on the route to WIN the game and refuses to talk after the game? Pure B*tch!

As far as Romo: hope you're happy with Jessica. Elite QBs don't lose their composure when things get tough--they make everybody else rise with them.

deion sanders-talked the talk, walked the walk
joe namath-talked the talk, walked the walk
patrick crayton-talked the talk, should have kept his big mouth shut, a second rate receiver at best

OK Sir Mouth Patrick....talk some stuff now....cmon...where is all your false bravery? I myself challenged you earlier this week to not get pissed on and smothered by simple single coverage. Hopefully you are playing for Ottawa next year you jerk, phoney, roster filling sorry excuse for a football player with a mouth the size of the next planet from the sun. And to think we signed this nonexcusable lip smack for another several seasons just makes me sick. I wish Brandon Jacobs had met you at any place at any stadium just to put you out of your nonexistent misery. Get a life, and PLEASE get a new team.

Posted by jda @ 9:50 PM Sun, Jan 13, 2008

GUARANTEED that if T.O. would have thrown the football again the game clock he would have drawn a flag!!!!!!!!!!!!

DOUBLE STANDARD against the Cowboys? or did the "Media darlings" Giants NOT get the penalty call?

Posted by Scottt @ 9:56 PM Sun, Jan 13, 2008

Too bad he didn't learn to keep his mouth shut earlier. He gets a nice, new contract extension and then lays an egg in the biggest game of his career.

Posted by Jim in Austin @ 10:09 PM Sun, Jan 13, 2008

Patrick, we are really upset with you now, and it really shouldn't surprise you. When you want to become a self-appointed spokesman for the team, you are held to a higher standard by the fans. Nothing is worse than someone who mouths off all year, and then when the really intense crunch time comes, comes up looking like an Arena League castoff.
Learn from this and move forward, or get the hell out of Dodge.

Posted by Uncle Doobie @ 11:48 PM Sun, Jan 13, 2008

In a year or two, Patrick Crayton will be kicking butt and taking names. Back off!!

Posted by chris @ 12:47 AM Mon, Jan 14, 2008

Uncle Doobie

Crayton said that they urinated on them!!! The Giants remembered those things. Crayton needs to shut up!!! Forget next year. He could have backed his noise up today, but he didn't. Furthermore, he could have faced the media like a man tonight, but he didn't. This shows that he is fair weathered. I am a long time Cowboy fan and I must admit that he talked waaaayyy too much this year.

Posted by Pedro @ 1:51 AM Mon, Jan 14, 2008

Crayton, how in the world do you quit your route with 21 seconds to go in the game? I mean, if you're not going to play at that point, when are you going to play?

Once again Jerry gives a nice contract to someone for no frickin' reason. Why are we paying a 3rd receiver $3.5M a year?

Posted by JD @ 10:40 AM Mon, Jan 14, 2008

Guys, here's Crayton's official Myspace page. Please feel free to leave a comment or send a message to him on what he can stick in his big mouth!:

Posted by DE @ 11:41 AM Mon, Jan 14, 2008

They just need to shut up and play ball.

Instead giving the team time off. Wade should have had guys working on tackling drills (Roy Williams), pass coverage positioning (Roy Williams), and discipline (O-line and Crayton). T.Glenn should just retire. Poor decision in putting him back in the mix at that point of the season. He looked horrible.

Another blown opportunity. These guys seem content with just making it to the NFL. All this Superbowl talk seems to be horsesh*t because they weren't disciplined or motivated at all. And get rid of the dead weight (R.W.) you can't be champs with chumps.

I'm sick of we'll get 'em next year.

Posted by g @ 12:29 PM Mon, Jan 14, 2008

its just funny how cowboys fans make so many excuses. its understandable though, since most of them are idiots anyway like that patrick crayton guy. guy talks all week and drops 2 big passes and bobbles a punt. if u gonna talk, back it up. simple as that. strahan talks but he can back it up. So shove it, all u cowboys fans. buncha losers....

Posted by Jim @ 12:44 PM Mon, Jan 14, 2008

Crayton told the media after the NE loss that he will see them at the Super Bowl. What a cocky guy! Why do always the below-average players talk smack? It is because they know they are not that good and they want to talk themselves into better players??

Crayton - here is a lesson for you.

You can take smack; on the other hand, you need to learn how to apologize to the Cowboys fans for your bad performance after the game. Be a man, stand up for your actions.

Posted by Austin @ 3:53 PM Mon, Jan 14, 2008

Our team was flagged all day because they committed boneheaded penalties. Let's not be like Raider fans and start making excuses for the team. Let's leave the conspiracy theory talk to Raider fans. Our team choked and that's that. I guess T.O. AKA "The Real 81" will be watching Randy Moss.

Posted by Hank @ 4:09 PM Mon, Jan 14, 2008

The Giants the "media darlings"? That's laughable jda. The media is always jockin' your Cowboys and referring to them as "America's Team".

Hey Austin, while T.O. is sitting at home crying, he can watch the real 81, RANDY MOSS, get his Super Bowl ring.

Posted by los @ 4:25 PM Mon, Jan 14, 2008

how in the hell did clayton drop the sure enough touchdown pass over the middle? he needs to put on a giants uniform because he sure wasn't playing for us. now being that i live in n.y. i got tohear all this b.s. thanx alot crayton u a##$#....

Posted by patriotnation @ 11:25 AM Tue, Jan 15, 2008

Hey Patrick, we are living up to our end, why didn't you live up to yours? Weren't you saying that you'd whip us the second time around?
It won't be quite as much fun without you in Arizona. I hope someone on the Giants or Packers has a mouth like yours to piss us off. I'm guessing they aren't that dumb.

Anyway, we'll send you lots of pictures,
Patriot Nation

Posted by mike garman @ 7:20 PM Tue, Jan 15, 2008

play calling on the next to the last drive was the key!!you could have driven a #%&*#!@ truck up or across the middle!!so why are we throwing long with all that time left and the medium pass to and over the middle is a gift--- there for the taking???
