Reckon they'll have room on the plane now

Lawrence Tynes won't have to worry about hitching a ride home after all. Not after his 47-yarder split the uprights to send the Giants to the Super Bowl.

Anybody out there even expect the Giants to make the playoffs? Me neither.

Get ready for an avalanche of stories about Peyton's little bro being all grown up now. Hey, Eli Manning did outplay Tony Romo and Brett Favre in back-to-back games.

And an even more insufferable Giants team next year. Great. The already long off-season just got longer.

Werent the cowboys suppose to make it to the superbowl Oh yea romo choked it away last week. Nice going loser. Looks like the giants own the cowboys again.

Who cares about NYG winning...I'm more excited to see the GB fans watch the "Greatest QB of All-Time" throw away another chance for the Super Bowl.

Goodnight GB, it's gonna be a LONG, COLD winter!

I figured the Giants would make the playoffs but that's about it. Gotta give them credit, they hit their stride when it counted most.

I hope Wade and Co. has paid attention....you can win 13 games and talk about it all you want, better to win number 13 in the third week in January than in the third week in December...i'm even more frustrated now...damn you Crayton and O-line....and Tony, and TO and the whole damn team!

Hey Cowboy, why don't u shut the f!!k up

Posted by Vox Veritas @ 9:20 PM Sun, Jan 20, 2008

They're a much better team with Shockey in street clothes.

Just wanted to say congratulations to the Giants fans, your team played very well throughout this past 4 weeks. To win 3 games on the road is quite a feat. Although I am a Cowboy fan and hate the Giants bad in the regular season I will be pulling for the Giants in the Super Bowl representing the NFC. Also I hate the patriot cheaters more. Eli grew up big time you guys should be proud. Sure wish it was my beloved Boys playing in the super bowl but oh well. Can't tell you how depressing it was after such a promising season that the Boys weren't playing today. But anyway congrats Giants and good luck in two weeks. Lets put an end to this bs AFC dominance!!

I know we already beaten up on our Cowboys, but I just wonder how they feel watching at home right now. For weeks (the month of December) they kept making excuses for their sorry play, repeatedly saying they'd be ready the following week, and of course that pitiful final regular season game when they used the excuse that they had nothing to play for.

Did Fav-ra look like an old man today or what?

Posted by letsgoto @ 9:23 PM Sun, Jan 20, 2008

Good thing favre didnt go away anywhere last week, ha.

Let me be the first to say that FAvre had a horrible game and it is all his wife's fault for being at the game wearing his jersey. She should be banned from future packer games. Also during the bye week he was on his tractor in Mississippi instead of studying film!!

Posted by COWBOY @ 9:24 PM Sun, Jan 20, 2008

Turn out the lights the cowboys choked it away last week. Could have been them celebrating tonight. Too bad choko romo screwed the pooch again. Oh well all the cowboy fans can sit on the thumbs and spin. Its what they do best

After an entire season of Tabloid Timmy rippin' Eli Manning for no other reason except that Eli is not Peyton, this Giants victory is sweet!

Tabloid Timmy could not even resist taking another cowardly jab at Eli in this post.

Go Pokes!

BTW...next season, the NYG will be EXPECTED to be even better which bodes well for everyone else in the division, I live in the NY area, they are a better underdog than a favorite...listen, we saw a veteran team (NYG) show two young and raw teams (GB and DALLAS) how to win. I know #4 is experienced but lets face it he has kids around him...and the DC will learn from this...they are too young and talented, winning is a process, it'll come keep the faith!

Great point Derrick, great point. I'm sure he'll try to say something during the next two weeks to stir it up.

As a Cowboys fan, the fact they did this without him is even more amazing.

Derrick, can you imagine what Jerry Jones must be feeling about now?

Posted by Vaquero @ 1:26 PM Mon, Jan 21, 2008

I agree with "Curtis Jr". That was a great piece by Taylor. Eli has won my respect. He finally came out of the shadow.
I read an article in the summer on ESPN about how he participates during the summer with Peyton on kid’s football camps. On how they extend their knowledge of football to them and counsel on other life matters there. I guess he is reaping what he has sowed.
I'm impressed.
I never thought I'd be saying this, but Tony has a lot to learn from that man that was there standing on that frozen turf Sunday after the game.
With the cameras rolling in front, he was looking for his parents in the boxes, rather than looking for his "girlfriend" and that media spotlight. This man has his priorities in order.
This really proves that looks can be deceiving.
I'm sure that our Cowboys will look very closely at this Giants Team and see where they lacked and faltered.
I believe now more than ever, after watching how the Giants Dbacks played, that we need to get rid of Reeves (or just use him exclusively on ST) and bring the best FA corner we can get to take the opposite side of Newman and place Henry in Reeves place on that package. That will free up Roy to do what he does best.
I'm sure Phillips will bring some new assistants to the D that have more knowledge of his Phillips 3-4 and we will see a more improved performance. But we need to get the corner. And if Pacman is able to come here on a "laced with clauses contract", then I say bring him on. Will see how we do next season when we face these Giants again.
Go Cowboys!

I agree Vaquero. Tony better stop his "celebrity" act right about now, man. Grow up Tony!
And Jerry, get you some corners with lots of balls and heart! Will need them next year to face these Giants recievers if we have any plans to win another division title.
