T.O. at practice

Turns out that WR Terrell Owens did participate in this morning’s walkthrough after all.

Several players in the Cowboys locker room indicated as much, saying that Owens was pretty much a full participant in the short session on the outdoor fields at Valley Ranch. Owens was spotted in the training room afterwards, wearing his practice jersey, but declined to speak on the matter.

He was receiving treatment on the high left ankle sprain he suffered against Carolina from associate athletic trainer Britt Brown. Owens was not present for the 15 minutes of this morning's workout that was open to the media.

But Owens’ presence in any capacity has to be considered a positive. Coach Wade Phillips said last week he wasn’t expecting Owens to participate in practice until “Wednesday or Thursday” of this week.

You gotta beleive that this guy is going to show up on Sunday!! He is a work horse . Down with the G-men. Final Score: Dallas 38- Giants 14

The popcorn will be ready on Sunday. TO and TG will be back together once again.

Posted by MamaBird @ 1:36 PM Mon, Jan 07, 2008

The only way Terrell does not show up is if we are going to his wake before the game.

Posted by greg @ 1:41 PM Mon, Jan 07, 2008

I would not be surprised if the g-men beat us, we are playing terrible and with no fire, its like they don't care, they all need to get their head in the game and shut up and show up.

TO is the real deal. The media always has something hateful to say about this brother. However, his performance speaks for itself. Just get him the Damn Ball and lets make it to the NFC Championship were we belong. How bout dem Cowboys

I think TO plays even if he has to drag a dialysis machine (or his hyperbaric chamber) around with him. And he'll still command double coverage even if he does.

Guy is a warrior.

The Giants just became a lot more beatable the minute this blog was reported....

Posted by WilliamC @ 1:48 PM Mon, Jan 07, 2008

Lordy,

Just listened to Wade's press conference and naturally got a lot of questions about player "off the field" activities, which, of course, he sluffed off.

Please tell me I am wrong and that I am an idiot(which should be easy to get on this blog), but Wade, in the area of "discipline" is beginning to remind me a little of Barry Switzer.

Could it be that the discipline established by Parcells has sustained this team but is now wearing off under good ol' boy Wade?

Don't get me wrong, I was not a Parcells fan, but I am beginning to worry about the current state of mind of this team.

Gawl dang, them GI Ants better be askeered now. We got T.O. back, the greatest receiver to ever play the game!!! Final score: Dallas 79; G-girls 0. Goooooooooooooooooooooo Cowboys!!! Win!!!

Good Point William.

No room for let downs. The ship should be running a little tighter.

Posted by Carl L @ 2:02 PM Mon, Jan 07, 2008

T.O. will be the leader on Sunday! He will come out fired up and full speed. There has never been a doubt in my mind that T.O. will be in the lineup and play a big role in the offense. The only thing that I'm worried about is Romo. He just hasn't shown that same instinctive play-making ability that he showed earlier in the season. It's an irritable feeling when you're lacking confidence in your QB.

Posted by little johnny @ 2:05 PM Mon, Jan 07, 2008

This subject is dead. T.O. will show up Sunday and you will never know he was hurt. The bigger question is how much of an impact will Terry Glenn make. If he is truly healthy and Romo can find him, the Giants are in for a long day.

WC, if we can have a truce...

I'm not worried about the area of "discipline" because of the quality/class of guys we have here. Let's face it, they're not the Bengals are they? Other than the over-debated Romo jaunt to Mexico, what have you seen that even remotely reflects a problem? Comparing Wade to the Bootleggers Boy is a stretch, dontcha think? Wade's a lot closer to Dungy than Switzer, (in demeanor, not wins/losses).

Ring the alarm when we have another White House episode or if Witten shows up to court wearing a fur coat.

Tim Burns, I've read several of your posts and I like the way you think. Nice to see some people on this blog with some sense and maturity about things.

Posted by Tim Burns @ 2:49 PM Mon, Jan 07, 2008

Thanks, Rodney....

I don't seem to have many supporters around here the last few days. I guess since I don't see us easily falling to the Giants, I can't fit in.

Take care & watch for the haters.

Tb

Tim Burns,

I sincerely hope you are right and I am all wet on this discipline thing.

But it is much more than "Romo's Mexican Vacation"(sounds like a movie title doesnt it),

It is Wade's laid back, every thing is hunky dory, we are 13-3 attitude, the way this team has performed over the last quarter of the season, its a lot of things.

I know I am being somewhat of a chicken little but I just am not comfortable that the team we saw the first 12-games is gonna show up Sunday.

Posted by cpm @ 2:58 PM Mon, Jan 07, 2008

OK, for all the people who are worried ,just take a look at the two teams, Name one area where the Giants are better than the BOYS. Its not Rocket Science. GO BOYS

Posted by giants baby @ 4:29 PM Mon, Jan 07, 2008

TO will play but high ankle sparains take on average 4-7 weeks to heal wat makes u think TO will be effective. no doubt hes a warrior and will play and his presence will help but dont expect this man to play at full speed he may be a super star but hes still human. giants r hitting in all cylanders and my boy eli is here and hes playing amazing ball and IM DARING U TO try to stop the bradshaw jacobs combo. if we get madison and ohara back u guys r done. u guys r done neway GIANTS 24- DA BOYS 14

Posted by larry giusti @ 5:18 PM Mon, Jan 07, 2008

Tim, now that I'm converted, I'm with you. Eat yer taters and watch the haters. Hoooooweeee!!! How 'bout us cheerleaders? I've got Spirit, yes I do, I've got Spirit, how 'bout you?

Posted by r @ 8:02 PM Mon, Jan 07, 2008

lol@ Giants warrior..that is your only hope that TO is at 50%

Posted by Robert @ 5:15 AM Tue, Jan 08, 2008

The Cowboys will win and beat the tired giants and Eli will be his usual self and throw 2 interceptions.we will beat them 31 to 17.

Posted by The Dude @ 2:11 PM Tue, Jan 08, 2008

Eli performed well because of the Tampa 2 def. He dinked and dunked, which decreased the opportunity for interceptions. Look for pressure up the middle early & often. 2 picks will be the difference. Close game...

why dont the computers tell us ahead of time who wins the game because i have to work and my kids have to go to bed i have to get them ready
