The Philadelphia Inquirer's Bob Brookover couldn't resist taking a jab while breaking the news that an arbitator ruled that T.O. must return $769,120 to the Eagles. Terrell Owens had nearly 800,000 reasons to cry over the weekend. Why should Cowboy fans care? For starters, this gives me more fodder to sensationalize on this here blog when the Cowboys and Iggles meet next season. And it also gives Philly almost $800,000 of extra room under the 2008 salary cap. |

With that move whatever respect I may have had for the Eagles just got washed away. The Eagles themselves were just as much at fault as T.O. I'm sure Terrell and Jerry can get this worked out, and it will not be a big issue. Eagles, you are low and underhanded and you will reap your rewards next season. I hope you enjoy your 0-2 against the 'Boys next season. You just heaped more fuel on the fire.

I a Cowboy fan that lives in the Philly area. So these knobs that are the Philly fans will have fun with this one. It's frustrating living among these Eagles fans. They really need to let it go.

to deserves to pay the money back so stop whininh robert and anyone else. t.o. is a classles jerk and deserves whatever he gets. Remember him dancing on the star as a 49er? same person, same jerk. The eagles will shut him up again and shove ppcorn down his moron mouth.

Why do they get the cap room back? THe money was paid in previous seasons, it shouldn't reduce a season that didn't have the expense, unless there was a pro-rated value they are still carrying for TO's contract.
