Hashmarks' Matt Mosley mentions Emmitt Thomas as a strong candidate for the Cowboys' secondary coach job. I'm told that Cowboys coach Wade Phillips wants to hire Emmitt Thomas as his secondary coach. Thomas, the former Chiefs great, has coached the defensive backs in Atlanta for six consecutive seasons and was named interim head coach when Bobby Petrino fled to Arkansas. Thomas has served as a defensive coordinator in Philadelphia, Green Bay and Minnesota. He and Phillips worked together in Atlanta. Thomas, a native of Angleton, Texas, certainly has impressive credentials. He has almost three decades worth of NFL coaching experience and was a Hall of Fame-caliber cornerback for the Chiefs. |

that would be nice to have a good d back coach...there is a reason parcells didn't make him d coordiantor...his secondary is horrible...maybe darren woodson can come be our secondary coach...emmit thomas our d line and linebackers coach...we may also need to look at rex ryan as a defensive coordinator...

You left out the part where Mosely says that Jerry overruled Wade's choice of OL coach. Not that he ever had much perceived power, but Wade has been completely neutered publicly the past couple of weeks.

Roy Williams -- Needs his vision checked ... and his brain checked
J. Reeves -- BWAAAAA-HA-HA-HA-HA-HAAAAAHHHHHHH!!!!!!!

I'm sorry - Quentin Jammer is just not that good. One good game against a team's 3rd or 4th option is not that big a deal. Now, if he'd manned up on Moss and owned him...whole 'nother story.

What's wrong with this blog? When did it go to h*ll in a handbasket? Other fans should stay on their own sites! This is our site. And I for one think J. Reeves just had a bad game. With the proper coaching I bet he makes the pro-bowl. Bring back Thurman's "crooks" so he can coach Reeves and the other DBs to the pro-bowl! And GMEN 4EVER you smell. Go worry about She-li and the beating he is soon to surly take!

Could not agree with you more but the fact of the matter is they cant "step up" monitoring because there is no monitoring.
These guys just dont monitor any more, they don't listen to the posters and fix the stupid Captcha Code. Hell, this is still called Matt Moseley's Cowboys Blog. Thats how much attention they are paying to the blog.
You are right "the best cowboy fan ever", the blog is going to hell in a hand basket. Now being filled with a lot of teenagers and crackpots who know they can come on here and be nasty because there is no monitoring, and a lot of the old hands who are really cowboy fans and have things worth listening too are giving up for that reason and because they are tired of fignting the Captcha Code.
But the DMN blog guys are not listening.
