Hashmarks superstar Matt Mosley, founder of this here blog, saw a funny/sad scene in the parking lot. Wade Phillips was about to get in his Lincoln Navigator, but the poor fella couldn't find his keys. As if falling to 0-4 in the playoffs as a head coach wasn't embarrassing enough. |

YEAH?
HE ALSO COULDN'T FIND HIS GAME PLAN OF HAVING A TEAM PREPARED FOR A GAME WITH 2 WEEKS TO GET READY
HEY I KNOW..
STOP TRYING TO BE THEIR FRIEND AND BE THEIR COACH AND GET THEM TO THE SUPER BOWL WITH A PLAYOFF WIN
OOPS
I'M SORRY
YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT A PLAYOFF WIN IS!
GIVE ME A BREAK
THIS IS ALL ON THE COACHES HEADS
JERRY JONES AND HIS EGO WILL PREVENT US FROM GETTING BACK AGAIN
IS JIMMY JOHNSON STILL LOOKING?
OH SORRY
THAT'S A JJ EGO ISSUE TOO!
I FREAKING CANNOT BELIEVE THAT A TEAM THAT'S WORTH A REPORTED 1.2 BILLION DOLLARS )that's billion with a B) COULD TAKE THE FIELD AND PERFORM SO EMBARASSINGLY
I WILL GO PUKE FOR THE NEXT 5 DAYS NOW
"A TRUE BLUE FAN"

I hate kicking a dog when he's down but I have to vent. Wade is not coaching material. He is a coordinator at best and should retire now so that Jerry can save face. Jerry is a fool if he thinks Wade will ever get them to the play-offs again. He is too soft and lacks the killer instinct all successful head coaches must have. Get rid of this guy! The fans deserve better.

Can one be so surprised to the outcome. When players project little concern two weeks ago on how important the Washington Redskins game was, I started feeling De Ja Vous all over again. It was not an important game, but once you start relaxing it is hard to remember what it takes to win. It takes your character away, your rythm. What happened to the Cowboys team of old where every game was just as important as the other? To keep in rythm a team needs to keep the intensity going. Habits take over and run into to the next games. Did New England relax when games were meaningless, or will everyone say their incentive was to make history to accomplishing a perfect season. No team is so special that they can afford to just relax and then wonder what happens the next week. What this team accomplished was a regular season full of records, that seemed to be more important then the playoffs and heads got bigger then the actual actions on the field. I say not playing less important games with less interest or intensity carried on the inconsistency into the playoffs.

Tim I am just as disappointed and frustrated as any other Cowboy fan here. With that said I just need to know how you can sleep sleep at night with the kind of reporting you do?
I know nothing about you, your age or maturity level but I have a favor to ask. Could you please take a step back and consider how you would feel if the roles were reversed?
Can you give up the Timmy Tabloid persona you have created and find some things that are meaningful to inform us about?

No Tim. Keep up Timmy Tabloid. We need that lighthearted stuff to distract us from the reality of our two consecutive one-and-dones.

For Dubai Dave: didn't you mean to say the reality of six consecutive one-and-dones?
For Jerry Jones: any goodwill remaining from the last Super Bowl in 1995 has dissipated.

Wade is an overweight, overhyped, overpaid bum who can't even manage his own problems [like his gut],
much less lead a football team to a championship.

Wade is not a coach, Jimmy Johnson is a coach. I agree what was said earlier in this blog, stop being their friends and be their boss/Coach. Do you think Jimmy Johnson would have let his top stars run off to Mexico for a little nooky a week before a playoff game, no way. So many things can go wrong, especially in Mexico. But wade already won a playoff game because they had a bye week. "That does not count". Someone please explain that to him. We need a real coach and with what we have now it will be same same next year. I say let Garrett go, give him a few years somewhere else to try out his head coach skills, don't make us loyal fans wait another 5-10 years for him to get where he wants to be. If he is good, Jerry can pouch him away in a few years. Bill Cower would do good, he would give lots of our players a face of spit when he is shouting at them.
BETTER STILL, GET JIMMY JOHNSON BACK AT ANY COST.
Jerry Jones, go back to Arkansas, you are as much a good GM has Wade is a Coach.

Has anyone looked at how good they have played all season and what great jobs these coaches have done?? There is alot of positive. I'm sure if the role was reversed any of us might be a "little" frustrated too, walking away with a BIG loss tonight.
Give Wade a break as well as the entire team...they all played great ball this year...yeah they made some mistakes...but remember, they are human too!
As far as Tony Romo goes. Everyone needs to BACK OFF of him! HE IS OUR QUARTER BACK! Who cares where he went on his time off, and quite frankly it's no ones business! I think everyone needs to respect Tony, Wade, all the Dallas Cowboys and the coaches.. Give them some credit.
Leave Jessica Simpson alone too!!! All the poor girl did was support her boyfriend, didn't know that was a crime?
Dallas you ROCK!!! Not giving up!!! Stay STRONG!!!

Hey, Wade did no worse than HOF coach Parcells, whose team went south in December and one and done in last year's play-offs. However, Wade did manage to get to 13-3 for the season. It still comes down to players making plays. It wasn't Wade dropping TDs and first down passes. It wasn't him letting the pass rush stay draped all over Tony in the 4th quarter. I did not see Wade tackle a man, going out of bounds to stop the clock anyway, by grabbing his face mask. He didn't pummel a player getting up from the ground after the play was over to earn a 15 yard foul. It was not Wade who stopped opening holes for the running game in the second half after dominating the Giants' in the first half. Maybe he didn't get the 'Boys to play with any more enthusiasm than an old man in the waiting room of a proctologist's office. Still, don't the players have a responsibilty to play at a level they get paid well for doing?

Hail to the redskins, Hail victory! Braves on the war path fight for old DC!

As a Dallas fan my whole life, I dont think I have ever been more disapointed. These players get paid astrnomical salaries, then go out in this important game and play such slip shod football is disgusting. Its not phillip's fault, these gus are men, it is their fault. The penalties were absurd, their lack of concentration was absurd. They owe the fans an applogy and they owe Jerry jones some money. I am disgusted with the whole bunch, most of all, the quarterback who chose to go HOLLYWOOD.Nuff said.

Nice goin', CHOKERS (the most reviled label in sports). My brother-in-law is dying under hospice care. He wanted to wait until after the Cowboys game. His last memory of you guys was yesterday.
Thank you very little.
