Bad news, folks: Cowboys cheerleader Christina Parker graces the Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue cover, right by the S. While the team's official site puts its typical positive spin on the story, everybody knows about the SI cover jinx. Might as well make that franchise-record playoff win drought an even dozen seasons. Feel free to comfort yourself by checking out the local gal's SI.com photo gallery. If you wanna see a little more skin, view the beautiful slideshow of her dallascowboys.com photo shoot on the Rivera Maya. Speaking of blonde babes with Cowboys ties who made memorable trips to Mexican beaches, I look forward to the swimsuit edition that features the future Mrs. Romo in the athletes' wives section. |

I know that T.O. and jeff Garcia didn't hug it out, but after seeing Garcia's wife, I'd like to meet with her and rectify that snub!

I'm confused. According to several spots The Cover for the SI issue is Supermodel Marissa Miller, not Christina Parker.
Christina is IN the issue but she isn't on the cover as far as I can see. I've conducted extensive research and analysis of every photo in the issue to make sure that this is factual.

While she is crammed in the upper left corner of the mag, i still feel the need to research all photos to ensure that this is an accurate portrayal of all the ladies. Could be mistaken identity.

Chad,
Oh, you mean that 20 pixel thing in the upper left? That hardly qualifies as being the cover does it?
I think for the jinx to work you have to be the featured pic on the cover, don't you? I'm a little fuzzy on the jinx rules.

Boo-Hoo. I've been a die in the wool fan for the last 40 years and I've never heard so many whiners. A pretty girl does not jinx a team or playr. T.R. tried too hard to be some kind of gun slinger in the play-offs and that's it. Get over it and let's look at the two first round pics we have in the draft.

A football team being jinxed by a models pictures in a magazine? That is about the stupidest thing I ever heard. And now if the Cowboys don't win the Superbowl next year we are going to hear all the "I told you so" remarks. Get real.

I understand the hyper-sensitivity to all the whining that has gone on the last month as I'm pretty sick of it as well, but please people, try not to lose sight of tongue-in-cheek humor, which this obviously is.

Naw the jinx is her not making the team next year!

I`d liked to be jinxed with a chick like that any day of the week.

Chester, Garcia's wife is a former Playboy Playmate of the Year, so you can do some searching if you want to see more.

Timmy Tabloid and Bayliss ought to share a Fire Island weekend retreat. He has nothing insightful to say so he's auditioning for a copy boy gig with TMZ. You'd think a market like Dallas could find an actual writer or two...but then they wouldn't work for 10 bucks an hour like tabloid.
